Return & Refund Policy

At PowerLine Research Publication, we strive to provide the best research publication services. However, we understand that sometimes refunds may be necessary. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which you may request a refund and how the process works.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refund requests will be considered only under the following conditions:

  • A refund request must be made within 3 days of the payment date
  • The service must not have been fully rendered. If we have already started processing your paper for publication, a refund may not be possible
  • If there was an incorrect or duplicate payment, you may be eligible for a refund
  • Refunds are not applicable if the submission has already been reviewed and sent for indexing

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Research paper submission fees (once processing has begun)
  • Fast-track publication fees after the process has been initiated
  • Editorial and writing services once delivered
  • Journals that have already been assigned for review and indexing

3. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@powerlineresearchpublication.com with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Order ID]"
  2. Include the following details in your email:
    • Your full name
    • Email address used for payment
    • Transaction ID or payment receipt
    • Reason for the refund request
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days

4. Refund Processing

Once your refund is approved, the process will be as follows:

  • The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction
  • It may take 7-10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider
  • If a refund is not approved, we will provide a clear explanation of the reason

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated with your bank or payment provider, PowerLine Research Publication reserves the right to suspend your account and any ongoing services until the dispute is resolved.

6. Plagiarism & Acceptance

Authors are responsible for ensuring their manuscript has plagiarism within the acceptable range (as per the journal's requirement). If a paper is rejected due to plagiarism or quality issues, refunds will not be applicable.

7. Manuscript Withdrawal

  • If the author requests withdrawal after publication, the manuscript will be withdrawn, but the APC (Article Processing Charge) will not be refunded
  • If withdrawal is requested before submission of the final draft, the APC will be refunded
  • If withdrawal is requested after slot submission to the journal but before publication, the APC will not be refunded

8. Manuscript Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Once the manuscript submission is acknowledged, the processing will be considered as started. No refund will be provided after this stage
  • If the client requests cancellation before the acceptance letter, the manuscript will be removed from the slot without any penalty
  • If the client cancels after slot allocation and later wishes to reprocess/publication again, a 30% advance of the total APC will be charged. This advance is non-refundable if the client cancels again. The remaining 70% payment must be made after acceptance, before publication

9. Processing Timeline

  • Acceptance timelines and publication schedules are dependent on the respective journals
  • Any delay from the journal side will not make the author eligible for a refund

10. Authorship Policy

  • Authorship positions (e.g., First Author, Co-Author) are assigned strictly on the basis of prior confirmation from the author(s)
  • Once an authorship position is confirmed and payment is made, adding new authors is permitted (with prior approval and valid justification)
  • However, removal of an author after confirmation and payment is not permitted under any circumstances

11. Journal Slots

  • Slots provided by journals are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Once a slot is booked and payment is processed, it cannot be transferred or refunded

12. Acceptance From Journal Policy

  • A security charge is required only if an author requests direct acceptance from the journal
  • Once acceptance is received, the author must complete the APC payment within 7 days. If the APC is not paid within this timeframe, the publication slot will be cancelled and the advance payment will be non-refundable
  • The security charge will be adjusted against the final APC. For example, if the security charge is 50 USD and the APC is 500 USD, then after acceptance the author will only need to pay 450 USD

13. Payment Terms (After Acceptance & After Publication)

  • Standard policy requires full APC (Article Processing Charge) after acceptance and before publication
  • If an author requests to pay after publication, then the payment will be split as: 80% of APC must be paid after acceptance (non-refundable), 20% of APC must be paid after publication
  • If the author fails to pay the remaining 20% after publication, PowerLine Research Publication reserves the right to remove the article from publication and indexing. The initial 80% APC will not be refunded under any circumstances
  • If the author wishes to republish the same manuscript after removal, they must pay the full APC again
